Dr. Umut R. Gündüz, born in Ankara in 1978, has carved a distinguished path in the field of medicine, particularly in general and metabolic surgeries. His journey began at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, where he laid the foundation for his medical career. After specializing in General Surgery at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, he continued to refine his expertise at Antalya Training and Research Hospital from 2011 onward.
In 2018, Dr. Gündüz expanded his role as a Clinical Education Instructor, focusing extensively on metabolic, breast, endocrine, and other general surgical procedures. His commitment to advancing his skills led him to managerial positions at Özel Termessos Hospital in 2021, where he continued to practice and lead in the General Surgery department.
Since 2023, Dr. Gündüz has dedicated himself to his own clinic, where he specializes primarily in metabolic surgery while continuing to perform a wide range of general surgical operations. His expertise includes procedures such as Gastric Sleeve, Bypass Surgeries (Gastric Bypass, Mini Gastric Bypass, SASI-S Bypass, Roux en-Y Bypass), Endoscopic Procedures (Gastric Balloon, Gastric Botox), Revision Surgeries, Diabetes Surgery, and Complication Surgeries.
