The number of teeth depends on how wide your smile is: some patients treat only the upper teeth, while many choose 16 to 20 teeth across both jaws so the colour matches. Any fillings, gum treatment or dental implants that are needed first are priced separately. What Is a Hollywood Smile?

A Hollywood smile is not a single treatment but a planned smile design. The dentist decides the shape, length and shade of each tooth so that the smile looks even, bright and in proportion with your face and lips. Depending on your teeth, the plan can include:

Veneers: thin shells bonded to the front of the teeth. The Oral Health Foundation describes them as a covering fixed to the front surface of the tooth that changes its colour, shape and appearance.
Crowns: caps that cover the whole tooth, used when teeth are heavily filled, broken or very discoloured.
Teeth whitening: sometimes enough on its own, or used to match teeth that are not covered.
Gum contouring: to even out the gum line before veneers or crowns.

Who Is a Good Candidate?

A Hollywood smile can help if your teeth are discoloured and do not respond to whitening, or if they are chipped, worn, uneven or have small gaps. Before treatment, decay and gum disease must be treated. Veneers may not be suitable if you grind or clench your teeth heavily, or have a deep overbite, unless this is managed first, for example with a night guard. Severe crowding is sometimes better treated with orthodontics before or instead of veneers.

The Hollywood Smile Process in Antalya

Online consultation: send photos of your smile and, if you have one, a recent dental X-ray. You receive a first plan and price estimate.
Day 1, examination and design: panoramic X-ray, digital scan and smile design. Your dentist agrees the shape and shade of your new teeth with you.
Day 1 or 2, preparation: the teeth are prepared under local anesthesia, and temporary teeth are fitted so you never leave without a smile.
Laboratory work: your veneers or crowns are made in the dental laboratory over several days.
Trial and fitting: the dentist checks fit, colour and bite, then bonds the final restorations.

Brushing twice a day and cleaning between the teeth daily
Seeing a dentist for check-ups and cleaning at least once or twice a year
Wearing a night guard if you grind your teeth
Avoiding biting hard objects such as ice, nut shells or pens

Porcelain does not change colour with whitening, so if you want whiter natural teeth next to your veneers, whiten them before the shade is chosen.

Is a Hollywood Smile Reversible?

Traditional veneers and crowns are not reversible, because some enamel is removed and does not grow back. The treated teeth will always need to be covered by a restoration. I was picked up at the airport and taken to a hotel, and the next day to the hospital, where I passed certain tests and an in-person assessment by Dr Ismail Gokhan BACAK, who is a specialist with lots of experience. I felt super confident before and after the procedure. The operation took over 5 hours, and I stayed 4 nights in the Hospital. Then some days in the hotel (all-stay included in the quote).
The team in charge of managing the patients (Tarik and Co.) before arrival, during stay and for weeks after the surgery is great, attentive and has great English and already know a lot about the recovery process.
The result of the operation is amazing. Dr BACAK is an artist. I feel like 10 years ago, before having my child, because I had gotten so big lately that it was uncomfortable to run or do sports.
Fully recommend this place and people. No misunderstandings, no BS, just good communication and full professional service.
Because I arrived directly from working long hours for a year, I was very tired, and the operation left me very tired. I recommend people arrive in Antalya and spend a week resting in this beautiful Mediterranean coastal town. Then do the procedure. Do not rush into it if you are tired.
